We host and maintain our clients’ WordPress sites on a secure, managed VPS in the EU, monitored 24/7. We offer two plans, with optional malware protection available for both.

Hosting

reliable hosting on our server, with daily backups
we take care of the server infrastructure and performance
automatic updates are enabled for WordPress core, themes, and plugins
the WordPress application itself is managed by you. If changes are needed, an update breaks the layout or a plugin needs manual fixing, or the site is compromised, developer support is available at €80 an hour.

Maintenance

reliable hosting on our server, with daily backups
we take care of the server infrastructure and performance
critical updates install automatically; we run all other updates once a week
updates are safely tested on a staging copy first. If a routine update breaks the layout, we fix it before pushing it to the live site at no extra cost
if an update requires a major change, such as replacing an abandoned plugin, we consult you first, and the work is billed at €80 an hour
if the site is compromised, we will restore it from a backup to an earlier working state at no extra cost (investigating the root cause and fully cleaning up the vulnerability is billed separately)

Malware protection

The server continuously scans the site for malware and automatically removes anything it finds. This can be added to either plan.

We highly recommend maintenance with malware protection, €40 a month + VAT in total.

02 / 03 · Backups

Backups

The server backs up the entire site every day and keeps the latest ten copies. On top of that, WordPress saves the database to cloud storage daily, keeping those copies for 14 days. Site files are copied to the cloud every two weeks: the latest two are kept for sites under 5 GB, and the latest one for sites between 5 and 10 GB.

These cloud backups can also be routed to your own cloud storage (subject to availability, Google Drive at no extra cost) instead, with no limit on how many are kept.

03.1

Email hosting

We do not provide email hosting as part of our WordPress plans. We always recommend using a dedicated email provider separate from the site hosting for better reliability and security.

Billed separately

Content changes, new pages, and new features are billed at €80 an hour + VAT or at an agreed fixed price.

03.3

Moving your site

If your site is currently with another host, we will handle the move. As part of the migration, we update WordPress and all plugins, and thoroughly check that everything works before pointing the domain to the new server. Your domain registration and email hosting can stay exactly where they are.
